Bridget + Justin

To say that we had a blast during Bridget and Justin's couple session at Lillian Arboretum Trails in Kalamazoo, Michigan would be an understatement.

In the days leading up to our session, we had lots of snowy weather, but also lots of warm again, cold again temperatures. In true Michigan fashion, we experienced what seemed like multiple seasons in the matter of a few days. With the snow, the warm melting of the snow, then freezing of the snow again, the trails were essentially sheets of ice. We had planned on walking the trails, but instead we basically ice skated them. Even passing others who were turning back because it was just too slippery, but Bridget, Justin, Josh and I kept on keeping on, determined to reach the creek with the bridge.

Once we reached the bridge, the sunshine was creating sparkles in the snow and golden glowy orbs, making the rather treacherous journey there SO worth it!

Do you have any pets? If so, what kind of animal are they and what are their names?!

We have four adorable little ladies running around our house. Stormy (Beagle), Randi (Chi-Weenie), Cocoa (senile Jack Russell), and last but not least Miss Kool-Aid our fat and fluffy house cat.
Describe your idea of the perfect date.

A perfect date for the two of us would consist of a few key things:
• Going on a long walk
• getting take out from our favorite restaurants
• wine
• Video games.
Name songs that you two love to listen to together.

If you could take a trip anywhere together, where would it be and why?

If we could take a trip anywhere it would be to Colorado where Justin lived for many years. We've been itching to plan a trip out there to see his old friends, do some hiking, and bask in the beautiful scenery.
What's the best relationship advice you have received or would give?

OKAY LISTEN TO ME LADIES AND GENTLEMAN AND ANYONE IN BETWEEN.
The best advice dating advice anyone has ever given me is this: Never settle for less.
Live by that. You deserve happiness, compassion, and the love of a lifetime, never settle for less than that.
When you look back at your images from the session, what do you think of? How do you feel?

I feel magical. There really aren't the perfect words to describe how in love I am with all of these photos. Get Lucky Photography is seriously the sweetest and most talented photographer I've ever worked with. These pictures are the perfect representation of our relationship and I am seriously floored and overjoyed every time I look at them (and seriously I look at them like every ten minutes). The best word to describe how we feel after all of this is lucky.
