Getting Ready

We photographed getting ready and details at The fountains Event Center in Parchment, Michigan, where Katie + Bryan also had their wedding reception.
The dramatic lighting in the venue made for super cool dress shots of Katie's gorgeous gown from Memories Bridal and Evening Wear.

The reception venue location was perfect for their Kindleberger Park ceremony as it's just a quick skip around the corner! It was also a perfect spot for their First Look.

First Look + Private Vows

Katie + Bryan did their First Look underneath the fall-colored trees at Kindleberger Park, right by where their ceremony site would be.

After seeing each other for the first time on their big day, they had a moment to read their vows to one another privately. A moment that was filled with all the emotions, which made for portraits following that felt like Katie + Bryan had static electricity between them. Bryan couldn't stop kissing Katie so sweetly and telling anyone near her that she was the most beautiful thing.

Ceremony At Kindleberger Park

You may have noticed the matching pair of lovebird tattoos on Katie + Bryan's forearms. The very talented artist who tattooed the birds on Katie + Bryan was also the officiant for their wedding! Before their ceremony and throughout their wedding day, I had the chance to chat with Mickey and it made complete sense to me that Katie + Bryan wanted him to help them with their special day. Much like Katie + Bryan, Mickey is a very authentic, genuine person. And their ceremony was exactly the same, genuinely filled with authentic love. Even Salem, Katie + Bryan's German Shepherd fur baby who got to walk down the aisle too and stand on Bryan's side, couldn't stop staring at the two of them with the most loving expression.

My favorite part was definitely the bellowing WHOOP! that came from Bryan after he was able to kiss Katie and seal their marriage. Those bellows and cheers didn't stop the rest of the night either and every time you heard it, it was impossible to not smile.

Wedding Party

The Fountains Reception

Katie + Bryan entered their reception from the grand staircase inside The Fountains.
They shared a meal catered by the event space with their guests, heard a speech from Bryan's brother, enjoyed a yummy cake by Bert's Bakery, and danced the night away!
