Always be yourself.
Boss Babe: A woman who, as a center of influence, knows what she wants and goes for it. She's in charge of her life and makes no apologies or excuses for who she is.
When creating the Boss Babe Series, it was my hope to connect with inspiring women and share their stories with others. A creative life can be tough, and while it's amazing to have the capability to pursue our passions, it's easy to get discouraged and is not always a simple thing. We live in a world where social media is everyday life, and people are showcasing all of their amazing talents. When scrolling through Instagram, or Facebook, we find ourselves comparing our work to others, and on occasion, it creates self-doubt. There's a business side, and a work-life-balance that still needs to be maintained as well, and let's face it, sometimes it is just hard. These Boss Babes are here to tell you that they have been there and that YOU CAN DO THIS!
So, without further ado- Meet Stevie, one of the most inspiring humans I've ever met.
Stevie has a unique ability to invoke one's creative side and bring out their true selves. There's just this positive and folksy energy that surrounds her that makes you instantly feel at ease in her presence. These magical qualities she possesses make her the phenomenal mother, wife, astrologer, and creator that she is.
What I find most inspiring is that she lives life doing what she loves. For a lot of creatives, we are used to hearing that people do not believe that what we do can be our main source of income. Stevie proves that you can have passionate dreams and craft them into a way of life for yourself and your family. I've heard said, "Don't aim for success if you want it; just do what you love and believe in it, and it will come naturally." It is beyond encouraging to see someone truly bring that quote to life.
Currently, Stevie and her family have taken their talents to the road! They are living full-time in an RV that they made into the cutest, coziest traveling home (go check it on her IG story!). They had the dream of seeing the world, and true to that quote decided that the time was now.
I could've sat in Black Owl Cafe with her for hours and hours and hours, or wandered the entire day away with her. But really, I am just beyond grateful to have had the chance to spend time with her at all. She is a rare gem and it's such an honor to see someone embrace who they are, pursue their dreams and always be eager to learn from the universe.

- What do you do for a living? (Official job title, or company, your preference!)
I am currently a silversmith, astrologer and vintage seller.
I have two companies, Farmhouse Moon and Whisky Ginger (I run this with my mate)
- What are you passionate about?
LIFE! Learning! Love! Figuring out who I am and how I fit into the cosmos.
Creating and seeing beauty in everything I can. Helping other people connect with the deeper, spiritual sides of themselves
- If you're needing to get amped up or inspired, what do you do?!
Turn on music, loud. Dance. Get in the car and go somewhere I've never been to. Get in nature
- Tell us about your success story, what were the failures you had to overcome?
I've been working very hard since I was 13 years old, all sorts of different jobs. I think the key to being successful is perspective and action. And maybe also staying curious and following the breadcrumbs of what inspires you. I'm the type of person that is interested in many things but my main goal was always to work for myself and to have freedom. I learned silversmithing by taking a few classes and a lot of self-taught experimentation. I have always loved creating things with my hands.
Astrology has always been an interest to me and a few years ago I started to study heavily and haven't stopped since. I think what we tell ourselves (the stories) matter a great deal. What you say to yourself will create your future. I don't see anything as a failure, but more of part of the journey to get me where I am now. - What advice would you give someone chasing their dreams?
Follow your curiosity and be gentle on yourself in the process. Tell the universe what you want and keep saying it out loud. Get specific. Just stay open and follow your intuition. Don't compare your journey to anyone else's
