Faith + Dan
Faith + Dan met during college, both attending Albright College in Reading, PA. They were both on the swim team and even in the same dorm hall. When they were sharing their story with me, I loved hearing about how much these two actually share in common. They were even born one day apart from each other, Faith on October 30th and Dan on October 31st. Almost like they were born especially for each other. ♥
After dating and going through lots of life adventures together, Dan proposed to Faith. While on a hiking trip in Rocky Mountain National Park, hiking up to Emerald Lake, Dan asked Faith to be his forever partner.
Naturally, next has to be a puppy! When first chatting with couples, I love hear about their pets or plans for pets. The first time Faith, Dan and I talked on zoom together, we talked all about dogs and how they were so excited to adopt a pup. To my excitement, I received an email from Faith before our scheduled photo session to ask if they could bring their new dog! Which, I responded with "Oh my Lanta, yes PLEASE bring the pup!".
Zeus is a 2-year-old lab mix and the newest member of Faith + Dan's family. He's the happiest boy that loves puppy pose and doggy bones. But most of all, he loves his humans.

Leila Arboretum
When first deciding on locations for Faith + Dan's engagement session, they told me about Leila Arboretum and let me tell you, this place is MAGICAL.
The grounds had the neatest sculptures, drives with twists and turns between large snowy covered pines that made it look like we could have been somewhere else entirely. Though it wasn't snowing out, it was quite windy, blowing the snow off of the trees and into the air. When the sunlight caught the snowy billows it was like being surrounded by sparkles! Even though it was super chilly, it was just the best setting for photos and considering these two have had some great moments in the snowy, wintery weather, was perfect.
Second Stop
Just to add in a little diversity to their images, we decided to add a second stop to Faith + Dan's session. Just a short 5 minute drive away from Leila Arboretum's is the Federal Center in Battle Creek, with it's gorgeous pillars and architecture it makes such a great spot for photos! Faith even told me that she even had some of their prom photos taken there!
We didn't stay too long because we were all ready for some hot chocolate at this point, but it was well worth the short stop.
GLP Love Note
Until then, happy, happy wedding planning!
