Danyel + Tucker had a gorgeous September wedding at Vintage Rose Barn in Gobles, Michigan. They decided on a western theme, lots of rustic charm with warm fall colors like burgundies and oranges. When chatting with Danyel about their wedding day plans, she said she just wanted things to be beautiful and simple. And that's exactly how it was. ♥
Getting Ready
Vintage Rose Barn has the cutest getting ready spaces for the couples who get married there. It's always super convenient when you can have everything in one spot and Vintage Rose Barn definitely offers that!
Danyel had matching robes and slippers with her Party People for that extra flair in their getting ready photos and of course, we had to include the sparkling drink!
Since Tucker and his Party People had a little less to do with their wardrobes, they mostly hung out. And since Danyel and Tucker decided to include a branding in their ceremony, they also made sure that the set up was good to go.

First Looks
First looks are always such a great idea in my opinion! They don't have to only be with the married couple to be, they can be with your wedding party, parents, grandparents, kids or even your dog! It's just a fun way to document your favorite people (or animals) reacting to seeing you for the first time on one of the biggest days of your life.
Danyel chose to do a first look with her Party People and her Dad. Both were filled with lots of excitement and cuteness. Danyel grew up on a farm, riding horses and taking care of their cows and animals. She is absolutely stunning all the time, but her normal outfit is jeans and t-shirt, so her people getting to see her all dressed up on such an important day was truly special.
Ceremony
The ceremony tree at Vintage Rose Barn has seen so much love, including Danyel and Tuckers!
It was awesome how they chose to add details into their ceremony to make it more personal to their lives. Such as, Danyel's Dad walking her down the aisle towards Tucker to "Farmer's Daughter" by Rodney Atkins. Their adorable daughter, Gracelynn as their sleepy flower girl, and a perfect short and sweet ceremony with their custom brand burned into a cowhide.
It all felt beautiful and simple, just like they wanted.
Wedding Party
Reception
Golden Hour
During their reception, we snuck out for golden hour portraits at the family farm. Danyel and Tucker are the kind of people that are so much fun to be around because they make you feel like you can just be 100% yourself. With them being the amazing company they are and being so naturally photogenic, their portraits were a DREAM. Not to mention THE COWS! Who knew taking photos at a cow barn would become my new favorite thing?!
I'm so thankful to have been able to be there to help capture Danyel + Tucker's wedding day. Meeting them and seeing them engage with each other and their favorite people was truly a gift.
xoxo
