Have a big event coming up and want to make sure you're taking the steps to flawless skin?
Having sensitive skin can be a real bummer when you're trying to look your best for a big event!
That's why GLP decided to reach out to one of Birch Salon & Company's estheticians and lash artists, Erica Rice-Williams to get some helpful tips. She shared with us 5-steps that can help get the skin you want before an event. Of course, timing is everything, but these should be beneficial if you're in a pinch!
Before diving into the five steps here's a little background on Erica!
As of 2020, Erica has been an esthetician in Kalamazoo, Michigan for 11 years. Before she found her passion for helping people get their best face, she was attending school for Early Art Education. At that time, she was getting facials regularly from Elina Organics. Struggling with sensitive skin herself, she found that working with Elina to create skin she loved was so uplifting and she wanted to be able to share that feeling others. From there she decided that she would no longer be pursuing the field of Early Art Education, but would learn to become an esthetician at The School of Designing Arts.
Not only did Elina in a way inspire her to become an esthetician, but she also gave Erica her first career in the beauty industry. Erica worked at Elina Organics for about 7 years before taking a new opportunity with HQ Salon&Spa. There she furthered her education as an "esti" and also became a lash artist with three certifications through NovaLash and one through Borbaleta Beauty.
Erica spent 7 years with HQ Salon&Spa but had yet again another new chance to explore her talents, taking her to her new home salon, Birch Salon & Company.
